Non-Public Agency (NPA) Services

Dartmoor is approved by the Washington State Office of Public Instruction (OSPI) as a Non-Public Agency (NPA). As an NPA, Dartmoor partners with districts to provide individualized programs on their behalf. All Dartmoor courses are one-to-one, include specially designed instruction (SDI), and help students meet the goals identified in their IEPs.
Dartmoor provides:
One-to-one customized instruction specific to student needs in grades 1-12
Curriculum aligned with state and district standards and graduation requirements
Open enrollment throughout the year including Extended School Year (ESY)
Full-time and part-time placements
Active supervision by our Director of Special Education
Knowledgeable staff
Behavioral and social/emotional supports (including the option of Behavior Technicians)
Executive functioning support
Coordination of services with district and other agencies involved in the student’s education
Quarterly reports on progress toward IEP goals and graduation credits
Monthly attendance reports
Participation in IEP development
Administration of state standardized testing
